SERVANT AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING- SALT
(7th - 9th grades)

An extension of the Day Camp program

The SALT program at BLBC is designed to help middle school campers explore the meaning of leadership and following Jesus with a servant’s heart. Our time is scheduled with Bible studies, small groups, games, activities, and service projects. The projects are a unique piece to the program and are designed to give the campers a sense of responsibility. It is also a way for them to experience the practice of serving and leading. We intentionally limit the size of our program to emphasize the idea of community by focusing on teamwork, growing group dynamics, and the importance of serving alongside one another.

SALT campers register, check-in, and sign-out with The Lake Day Camp, but spend most of the day with their own counselors, schedule, and facility separate from the younger campers. All 7th-9th grade campers who register for Day Camp will automatically be placed in the SALT program.
